Public School Financing: Preparing For An Unprecedented Challenge
The Folsom Cordova Unified School District continues to be proactive in preparing for an unprecedented reduction in statewide public school funding. We have created an online survey that will take only a few minutes to complete but will go a long way in helping us proceed.
The survey is intended to provide information to the Governing Board and superintendent about the perceptions of parents and the community. The information will be used to help guide the Board in making decisions about the budget recommendations that will be prepared by the superintendent. The survey is available online in English, and will soon be available in Spanish and Russian.

We also invite you to one of our Community Forums on the Budget. We are dedicating this time to give specifics on what actions our district is taking and to get feedback from you. We will hold two forums, one in each of the communities our district services.

Our efforts are even gaining regional attention. See the Sacramento Bee Article http://www.sacbee.com/education/story/1567088.html about our unique approach to facing these challenges. Whether you're a parent, a member of the community, or an employee of the district, the possible reductions will affect us all. We invite you to provide us with your perspective and to share your ideas with us.
