Don't forget this Friday is the PTA's recycle drive. Please bring in your cans and plastic bottles to school. Look for the white pick-up truck (that is normally parked by the first grade classes). It is not only good for the environment but it will also earn the school some extra money!
Have lots and don't want to carry them? Email MatherRecycles@gmail.com to schedule a pick up.

Last Call For Box Tops
A huge thank you to all who have turned in their box tops. We have collected almost 4,000 box tops to submit! That's almost $400.00 collected for our school - one dime at a time!
Please send in the last of what you have and remember that you can just send them in a ziploc bag to make it fast. And then continue collecting for our spring time submission.
Great Job Mather Heights!

Fall Festival is HERE!!
Well I can't believe it but the Fall Festival is here!! All of the PTA, room parents and volunteers have put in countless hours making sure that you and your family have a GREAT time tomorrow night, Friday October 3rd. I want to thank each and every one of you for helping make the Fall Festival be successful!!
We are prepared in every area to have a wonderful Fall Festival rain or shine!! Of course shine is the perfect situation but we do have a back up rain plan just in case!!
I hope that you bring your family and friends out, have dinner, enjoy the class booth carnival games, listen to music by LSB the band, take a ride on the train, challenge your children to climb the rock wall, take part in the cake walk, check out the AMAZING Silent Auction baskets and last but not least, test drive a new Chrysler, fill out the form and Chrysler will donate $5.oo for every form filled out- The donated $850 last year- my goal this year is $1000!! That could pay for anywhere from 3-6 field trips that your children are going on!!!
Hope to see you tomorrow night, Friday October 3rd from 5-8pm!!
Let's hope that Mother Nature has plans until 8:00pm!!!
